Privacy policy

This site is a portfolio. It has no shop, no login, no newsletter and no advertising. The only way it collects anything about you is the contact form, and the only reason it does is to reply to you.

Who is responsible

The site is operated by ThinkDevs. Our registered details and the address to write to are at the bottom of this page. For anything about your data, write to devs@thinkdevs.com.

What the contact form collects

The form asks for your name, email address, phone number, company and your message. Name, email, subject and message are required; phone and company are optional and you can leave them empty. Submitting the form sends your message to our own inbox and stores it in our own Odoo system, so that a person can read it and answer you.

Why we are allowed to hold it

You asked us to contact you, and you ticked the consent box to say so. That consent is what we rely on, and we record the moment you gave it alongside your message. You can withdraw it at any time by writing to devs@thinkdevs.com, and we will delete the message.

What we do with it

We read it and reply. That is all. We do not add you to a mailing list, we do not profile you, we do not make automated decisions about you, and we do not sell, rent or share your details with anyone for their own purposes.

Who else can see it

Your message sits in our own Odoo system, on a server we run. Our hosting provider can technically reach the machine it sits on, as any hosting provider can, and the mail service that carries the notification to us handles it in transit. Nobody else is given access to it.

How long we keep it

We keep an enquiry while the conversation is live, and for up to 24 months afterwards so that we can pick up a thread that goes quiet and come back. After that it is deleted. Ask us to delete it sooner and we will.

What you can ask us to do

You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to us holding it at all. Write to devs@thinkdevs.com and we will answer. If you are in the EU or the UK you also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.

Visitors from the EU and the UK

ThinkDevs is based in Pakistan, so if you write to us from the EU or the UK your message is transferred outside your own country to reach us. We only ever transfer what you chose to put in the form, and only so that we can reply to you.

Children

This site is aimed at businesses. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.

Changes

If we change how any of this works, we change this page and the date at the top of it with it.
